Exactly. Time served, in my case three years and my brother 6, was not enough to allow us back in because we were both near or over 50 so we wouldn't have enough time to get to 20 by the time we had to retire. I'm the older one BTW. But better looking. LOL

I told them, "hey - I already got a pension, don't need the Armys". Not one to give up,I talked with one of the security companies with contracts in that area.

So I went a got a commercial D/L and racked up 50k cross courty miles, per the recruiter's request. Then I find out no guns for truckers, they have to rely on the Services.....

Not this kid, didn't get this old by relying on anyone but me.

Best offer I got was guarding an Ammo dump in one of the Emirates.....
