It was a BigGovernment.com investigation. All the FNC shows aired the video, all the blogs embedded the video. I’m mystified why everybody here is giving credit for this to Beck. Unless he’s like God now or something & nothing happens on this earth without his intercession, this wasn’t ‘his’ story.

Mark Levin, is that you?

Glen’s been hawking this story all week and he’s devoted almost his whole show to it.

I don’t see anybody saying it’s HIS story...most just giving him credit. If anything, he did bring the most passion, drama and attention to it as most anybody.

But I’m giving him a well-deserved bow. He teased and he titillated and he entertained and he cajoled and complained and he wheedled and he damn well deserves a big chunk of credit.

Ace of Spades HQ notes "The Past Tense Media's" role:

This will be yet another story where those reading the MSM only find out about the escalating controversy after a big action has been taken.

Add it to Van Jones, The Edwards Baby, Chas Freeman, etc where the DeadStream Media has to report on a no-longer-ignorable development of a controversy they chose to sweep under the rug to protect the government.

Perhaps because he put it on radio and television, always giving credit to Breitbart and company, and with their participation. What is your problem anyway?

It was Breitbart’s doing, right? Beck was the messenger as I understand it. But Beck’s been breathing down the necks of the administration’s czars and ACORN and other unsavory actors connected to ostammer for some time now. Maybe there’s an alliance between Beck and Breitbart in advance of this. SOMEBODY has been doing investigative work on the administration’s radical ties, so it may be that there’s an informal arrangement whereby Beck is positioned as messenger and to take the heat because he’s got the protection of Fox’s protection while Breitbart handles the investigative end mostly behind the scenes.

FYI: Andrew Breitbart personally called Glenn Beck on the weekend before the story broke to tell him about the two young people and their ACORN expose’.

Glenn Beck hasn’t tried to take credit. In fact, he’s made a point to give credit to Ms. Giles, Mr. McKeef and Andrew Breitbart.

Breitbart broke the story, it sounds like it was released in concert with Beck, as GB knew about it the day before it going on air. Glenn gave credit to BigGovernment.com.
No need to get bent about it.
