Breaking News on Fox, the Census Bureau has severed all ties to ACORN. Will not be working with ACORN for the census in 2010.

If it was a very long form it might have been the American Community Survey. They might have also been doing a test run of next year's census to test their computers and procedures.

The only other source, outside of Beck, to cover these videos before the two ACORN sleazes were fired were Fox, whom Breitbart released the videos too. Glen also covered them at about the same time. No one else covered them even after Fox, Breitbart and Glen showed them, until after the ACORN workers were fired. So when you say you heard about it from other sources, you heard about it from Fox, or some blogger who picked it up from Glen or Fox. No other MSM(state run media)outlet covered this until 7 PM.
The guy wasn't asking any questions about my economic situation--he just wanted to know my name, my address, and how many people lived here. Then he asked me if I knew my neighbor--and I (feeling VERY uncomfortable about that) gave him NO info about her.

I might enjoy watching, I dunno. I certainly appreciate all the outstanding work he’s been doing. He totally rocked on Van Jones - he DOES indeed deserve the lion’s share of credit for that one, it seems to me. I just don’t “do” TV news shows anymore - haven’t for several years.

When Brett announced the news my first reaction was utter shock and joy however I wonder if Obama/Congress can rescind the decision or will it stick? Anyone know?
If Beck did not break this story on the television and the radio, who did? Actually a lot of credit goes to Michelle Malkin's new book. Beck has been exposing ACORN just about since he got on FOX. I have, on this thread, given credit to Breitbart, Giles, the reporter, and the reporter's mentor, Morton Blackwell. Breitbart and the reporters worked with Beck on this, and participated on his show. Every poster is not going to go over the complete list on each post.

Frankly, I’ve only recently started watching Beck’s show, but I like him. He’s a bit emotional, but he sticks to something until he gets results. That I like.

Most righty bloggers got it from BigGov the day they debuted on the net to much fanfare. That’s where I got it. I suppose you’re right that those who still depend on TV for news got it from Beck, I wouldn’t know. It just seemed kinda weird that everybody here was giving him credit & not even mentioning who did the investigation in the first place. Like I said upthread somewhere, Mr. Beck’s fans aren’t doing him any favors doing that, because it leaves others who haven’t been watching Beck under the erroneous impression that he’s hogging credit for it, when he’s not (I hope.)
