Despite efforts on this forum to completely ignore Smith's history while portraying this guy as some sort of patriot, the truth is Lucas Smith is a convicted con man with an arrest record detailing a long history of fraudulent activities and I have no doubt that the birth certificate he "delivered" (after unsuccessfully trying to sell it on eBay) is a complete forgery, manufactured solely for Smith's financial gain and notoriety.
It is not as if Lucas Smith is trying to pull something over on the public. He has never denied his past, in fact, he clearly states that it took someone LIKE hime to get this information. Willing to pay bribes for people to look the other way. To him, its the results, not the method, that are important. HE delivered a “product”
Now, as a con man, if he delivers a product, and its found to be bogus. He has pretty much put everything on the line to perpetrate a hoax. I don’t think so.
He delivered the goods, then signed statements, and made himself available to the court, and its scrutiny, and its punishment (up to 5 years) if he committed fraud.
If I was a betting man, I would put my money on him, as he stands to lose far much more than a con man would be willing to wager on a fraud.
Again, your shooting the messenger, and ignoring the message. If it bothers you, ignore the messenger, and let the message speak for itself.
If it proves right, then you can judge Lucas, until then, you really have no idea...now do you....

Smith would be a fool to sign an affidavit in Fed Court regaging the BC. If it is a forgery then your hero can just release his BC. HE will have to eventually.
