Lautenberg To Reveal Names on Secret List
The names of the people on the watch list are secret, and Lautenberg said he was frustrated by the F.B.I.'s refusal to disclose to investigators details and specific cases of gun purchases beyond the aggregate data.
Gun hater Lautenberg requested the gun grab study from the Government Accountability Office. He is using statistics, compiled in the report that is scheduled for public release next week to invade US citizen's privacy and put more restrictions on the Second Amendment.
Lautenberg said he wanted a better understanding of who is being allowed to buy guns.
How you ask? Trial by innuendo and misinformation that has put 1,000,000 Americans and maybe even you on a terrorist watch list without your knowledge by saying: people placed on this government's terrorist watch list can be stopped from getting on a plane or getting a visa, and will also be stopped from buying a gun.
Lautenberg wants gun purchases stopped for just being on the list. Current law states federal officials must find some other disqualification of a would-be gun buyer, like being a felon, an illegal alien or a drug addict.

The government's consolidated watch list, used to identify people suspected of links to terrorists, has grown to more than one million names since the attacks of Sept. 11, 2001. It also has drawn widespread criticism over the prevalence of mistaken identities and unclear links to terrorism.

History Repeating Itself?
The 1938 German Weapons Act, the precursor of the current weapons law, superseded the 1928 law. As under the 1928 law, citizens were required to have a permit to carry a firearm and a separate permit to acquire a firearm. Furthermore, the law restricted ownership of firearms to "...persons whose trustworthiness is not in question and who can show a need for a (gun) permit."

Recently Sens. Frank R. Lautenberg (D-NJ), Jack Reed (D-RI) and Dianne Feinstein (D-CA) have joined Paul Helmke, President of the Brady Campaign to Prevent Gun Violence and victims and family members of the Virginia Tech tragedy, to introduce legislation to eliminate the private transfers of firearms and close the nation's "gun show loophole."

Lautenberg and the Gun Grabbers in the Senate are now tying to use the GAO to justify putting Americans on a secret gun ban list.
LAUTENBERG'S MOTIVES
Motives for his latest gun ban to are twofold: First, he is taking small steps to enact gun control legislation this is just one step. Second, eradicate the gun culture altogether. All that seems to be on the minds of the Anti-Gun Senators and at the offices of gun control extremists is figuring out how to invade your privacy to erode and eventually destroy the right, and the means, of self-defense.
Now the Anti-Gun Coalitions are trying to use a self supporting GAO study to destroy the right of all Americans to keep and bear arms to protect themselves under the law. They are attacking and hiding behind an Anti-Terrorist Agenda while getting political and financial support from:

The American Civil Liberties Union estimates more than 1 million names have been added to the watch list since the September 11 attacks.

Since airing a story this summer about how Correspondent Drew Griffin began getting told he was on the watch list -- coincidentally after he wrote a series critical of the TSA's Federal Air Marshal Service -- CNN has received dozens of e-mails and iReport submissions from viewers who also have found themselves on the watch list.

Besides the airline pilot, there's the James Robinson who served as U.S. attorney in Detroit, Michigan, and as an assistant attorney general in the Clinton administration;
The third-grader has been on the watch list since he was 5 years old. Asked whether he is a terrorist, he said, "I don't know."
Though he doesn't even know what a terrorist is, he is embarrassed that trips to the airport cause a ruckus, said his mother, Denise Robinson.
Denise Robinson said that no one in the government even told her her son is on the watch list but that it wasn't hard to figure out. Checking in at curbside three years ago, the family was told they couldn't get boarding passes and were hustled to the ticket counter.
She said the ticket agent made a number of phone calls and kept asking which among her husband and two sons was James.
"And all of a sudden he says, 'How old is he?' " Robinson recounted. She said she responded numerous times, "He's 5."
The agent handed them paperwork and refused to tell them what the problem was but urged them to fill out the forms. The documents were Department of Homeland Security paperwork to get off the watch list.
Not knowing which of the three might be targeted, she sent in the required documents for the entire family -- and got back one letter, addressed to James.
Congress has demanded that the TSA and Homeland Security fix the problems with the list that are making travel so difficult for so many Americans. Prominent lawmakers, including Massachusetts Sen. Edward Kennedy and civil rights leader-turned-Georgia congressman John Lewis, also have encountered watch list difficulties.
The source was private email. The news is that they named someone as being on the list. The other news being that they are taking gun rights away for something less than suspicion.

Once the Second Amendment "right" was infringed by denying guns to ex-felons the rest was inevitable. Just keep it up and the only ones to have guns will be the criminals who don't obey the law anyway.
Alan Gottlieb and SAF (Second Amendment Foundation) is a good group. They put on a gun rights policy conference each year that is very reasonably priced.
There's bills that are introduced each year that want to put the "no-fly" list and apply it to guns as well. There's no movement on it, but it is one we need to watch for, because that is something that may get the mushy middle on board.

With all that this tyrannical fraud and his demonic minions have done to date, what on earth would make you disbelieve it???? Check to see if such a bill is pending in the Congress? Call Lautenberg’s office. There are lots of things you can do to validate this. And furthermore, it makes perfect sense. Obama will do ANYTHING against the people of the United States to maintain power and RULE with an iron fist. Dis-arming you makes perfect sense. This Fascist pig has a lot more than this in store for you.
In fact, I can’t believe how much the American public has put up with so far. I truly believe that this guy has the suspension of the 2010 elections already figured out. He will see to it that there is a manufactured crisis, will institute Martial Law and suspend the elections. NO WAY will he allow the type of Rats he’s got behind him now in the numbers that he’s got them, to be removed from office and replaced by Conservatives who will not go along with him.
