I am counting on God to ultimately defeat the beast as well. However, we are going to have battles put in front of us by Him and we are expected to fight battles in front of us. I hope I can know and do what is right in that.

Do not lose track of how we are to 'fight' these battles: We are to use The Holy Spirit, faith, and prayer. We are to pray in accordance with his word, IOW we must speak in prayer the passage in his word that grants us what we seek, and have faith that his word is true, and our request is granted.
