As seems to be the common case on these threads - unfortunately with much too frequency - you're quick to lob the insults, and slow with the specifics. If you can dispute something I've said, then dispute it. Of course, I hope that you'll cite something of substance in that dispute, but I'm not counting on it. Instead I'll look for the ad hominem attack and unfounded accusation.
It's sad really. At one time, in the not so distant past, conservatism - Buckley's conservatism - stood against the conspiracy theory kooks that were common place in the John Birch Society. Then, Buckley, with his intellectually superior discourse beat the insult-throwing, bell-bottom wearing, peace-sign showing hippies in the arena of political debate and ideological battle. For whatever reason, the conservative movement has devolved into something I'm sure Buckley wouldn't even recognize anymore.
Who put 'ass' in their post first? You started with the snippy tone? You did. A poster call you out up thread about your inaccuracy. did you respond to him?
I’m still waiting for you to answers this one.
“When is Obama going to show that COLB he proclaimed to the world as a genuine document from Hawaii? You got a gooood answer for that? I’ll await your response. “
Buckley was a constitutional guy. He despised liberals and Rino’s disregard for the constitution. He was also distainful of corruption.
At his prime, Buckley would have demanded and arranged with his insiders to see the Kenyan’s birth documents before it got this far. Unlike McSlime, Buckley had a ton of integrity and wit. He loved the Republic.
