After decades as a reporter and host on "20/20" and other ABC News shows, John Stossel is leaving the network for a multiyear deal with Fox News Channel and Fox Business Network, according to TVNewser.
Stossel reportedly is going to host a weekly show on Fox Business and a quartet of hourlong specials for Fox News. He's expected to make regular appearances on Fox News Channel during daytime and primetime
And a keynote speaker at the recent NRA convention in Arizona!
He was believed when on ABC...they will think he is lying now on FOX.
I agree. Him and Glenn Beck on DBM channels would reach people otherwise brainwashed to hate FOX.
Stossel is a long standing Libertarian. Like Glen Beck, when he was on CNN, Stossel has been largley ignored by the left during his time on ABC.
I expect that to change.

He was not believed by the alphabet media lovers in fact they hated him. ABC has even pulled some of his shows over the years because his reporting did not mix with the brass and sometimes the advertisers.
Welcome aboard John! The first story I remember of his was a very objective piece about the Dioxin scares.
Fox is slowly but surely gathering up all the best that is left in the MSM. Fox will rule the ratings for many years to come.

You said it! I wrote to him years ago to get out of that hellhole so I could watch his show. I guess the game they played on him by blacking out his show against socialized medicine, pushed him over the edge.
Also the Left might be doing a final cleansing of anti-communist reporters at the networks. Only Fox will be remaining to say anything against communism and then the Left can hone in on targeted one remaining voice.
Well well well. After I heard he was giving a special on the Healthcare Debate on ABC last week I wondered how he manages to stay on with them.

Agree. I wish that he would still be on ABC to reach people who will never watch FNC.
Some on this thread have commented on the theme that Mr. Stossel was likely not particularly welcome at ABC and that is likely true. I am thinking that he may have left because he was weary of being surrounded by liberals with whom he himself was not comfortable. Maybe he just wanted to get away from them.
I am sure that that was not the only reason, just a contributing one.
