This evening I let my emotions get the best of me when listening to the Presidents remarks regarding the coverage of illegal immigrants in the health care bill. While I disagree with the Presidents statement, my comments were inappropriate and regrettable. I extend sincere apologies to the President for this lack of civility.

The people Joe Wilson should apologize to is us. Because when he lost control it hurt our side of the debate. I dont give a damn that he hurt the feeling of BO or anybody on their side. Its the fact he hurt our position in this debate that ticks me off.Hurt our position in the debate? About a million stood and cheered when they heard that. It was the only true thing uttered tonight in that room.

Didn't hurt our side at all. Unbeknownst to you Obama had not talked about any of this with any Republicans since early April.
We are not in the debate. The Democrats are simply forcing this down everybody's throat.
But, alas, they're making some serious mistakes. They set it up to give the President a national platform to Make His Case, and instead he came over to call everybody a liar.
That's always a very weak way to make your case. We already know the arguments there, so it's time to tell us something new, and he didn't.
The Democrats wasted their opportunity.
Joe Wilson didn't waste his.

Now, there are also those who claim that our reform efforts would insure illegal immigrants. This, too, is false. The reforms -- the reforms I'm proposing would not apply to those who are here illegally.
(UNKNOWN): That's a lie. *DING* - just figured it out!
If Obama and the Democrats grant AMNESTY to "Illegal Immigrants" in 2010, and ObamaCare doesn't kick in until 2013, technically Obama would NOT be lying, now would he?
So actually, Rep. Joe Wilson, "liar" may not be the appropriate label.
"Scumbag" works better.

Certainly it was the exact place and time to say it... and the world will talk about obama's lies tomorrow... and factcheck.org and others have already declared that obama was lying... and that will be the focus tomorrow. One thing to remember... fighting... real fighting is something that only some of people can stomach. Only 3% of Americans fought the British for Independence... and those that think like I do number far greater than 3%.

Yeah, the million who cheered were already decided.
If Joe Wilson’s goal was to rally the troops, there are other forums to do that.
This speech tonight was about the undecided.
To: Cringing Negativism Network
Not a problem. Mission already accomplished. Obama speech completely derailed. POINT: WILSON!Ya know, you're probably right. I was disappointed that Wilson apologized. But after thinking about it, the MSM is presented with a "rock-and-a-hard-place" problem: Do they run with the original outburst, ignoring the apology, to cast the Pubbies as eeevil; or do they highlight the apology, laughing and saying the Pubbies kissed the Kenyan Pretender's @ss? On second thought, they'll probably do both.

I don't even think there is a Democrat who thought Obama wasn't lying when he said the criminal invaders’ health care wouldn't be covered. That Obama would even bring it up actually undermined everything else that he said was being misrepresented.
They need to be asked “who will pay for the illegals’ health care?” since they won't be able to say “no one”. They are trapped.
To: All
Should have known better.
Another Republican without courage. Backed down the same night.
He knows Obama is a liar. He was right to state that. Obama had NO problem calling Sarah a liar (falsely) two seconds before and he hasn’t reneged on that.
To those of you calling for civility? Tell the Libs to learn it first. Their whole caucus heckled Bush during his speeches. No, those days are over.
The people at the town halls have the guts to say what they believe and stand by it. When Republicans learn to speak the truth and stand by it than I’ll start caring about their political survival.

There is tomorrow!! We'll see how many Republicans who were there have the spine to do it!!!
