Sen. John McCain (R-Ariz.) and Democratic leaders are calling on Rep. Joe Wilson (R-S.C.) to apologize for heckling President Obama as a liar.
Wilson shouted to the president "you lie" after Obama said illegal immigrants would not benefit from health insurance coverage from the reform bill. Obama glared disgustedly in the direction the remark came from, as did Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.) and Vice President Joe Biden.
House Democratic Whip James Clyburn (D-S.C.) called Wilson's outburst "embarrassing," while McCain said it was "totally disrespectful" and that there was "no place for it in that setting or any other."
McCain said Wilson "should apologize for it immediately."

Bullshit! You lie!
Do Not apologize!
So keep up the outrage, liberal goons. Keep it up! More! More!
Get used to it McCain and like minded Republicans. Move over! Palin, Wilson and the American Public are comin’ through!
Dollars to doughnuts that if he runs, he will be re-elected.
What is SOS(Senile old shit?)
I’m sorry you’re a liar, Mr. President.
Right On! Thanks for the cite, and by Obama claiming 46MM people uncovered that means he is including 12-15MM illegals!
This was an unbelievable expression of truth to power. The viciousness of Obama’s partisan speech asked for the rebuttal. He blamed Bush and the Republicans for every single problem he faces, without shame, in a waterfall of sheer hypocrisy to his false claims of bi-partisanship.
Obama did lie.
“I knew Johnny would be slinking to the cameras. Hes a big Obama fan. Wheres Lindsey?”
Lindsey determined to applaud Obama til he realized he was on camera. Then he pretended to be rubbing his hands.Later, after Obama’s writ of false claims, Lindsey and McCain were observed in the Congressional head giving Obama one of those traditional muslim foot baths.
The media and the Left think this will backfire on Republicans but what it did was highlight what this speech truly was A BIG LIE.
Joe stepped up to the plate. Who will be next???
McCain should apologize for his campaign and his Senate record.
McCain let Obama call Sarah Palin a liar on TV - yet he makes no response.
I saw a candidate squander his capital of support when he walked out of that economic summit with not so much as a whimper. I saw him squander a campaign touched by an angel, Sarah Palin, because he was unable to step up to the plate and smack down the mountain of lies about her. I saw McCain with that jaw clamped shut as the lies continued months after his miserable loss.
Sarah Palin has made more impact from her comments on FaceBook and Twitter than McCain could in all the months of the Obamacare debate. For McCain, Twitter is what you do when it is time for more than wetting your pants in fear.
I see him as a man who would cower into the fetal position the moment the electric drill came on to scare him into submission to the DEMONRATS.
Hey McCain! Brrrrrrrrzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz! Brrrrrrrrzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz! Brrrrrrrrzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz!
Perhaps his campaign slogan "Country First" might cross his mind.
Nah, that was just a little gag, like that "Foot soldier in the Reagan Revolution" yarn. Everyone knows that by now.
"McCain First"?
That's more like it, n'est ce pas?
.
Wasn’t Obaaama to be allowed to get by with calling mcLames female running mate a liar?
John McInsane is certainly no gentleman, he thinks however he is a big deal in a Gentlemans Club.
He is Pathetic
With all respect, sir, that may be an insult to poor old Uriah Heep. He was a genuine chiseler with no pretensions.
Juan McCain on the other hand, tries to pass himself off as some kind of stand up guy, while at the same time, being about the worst chiselers and panderers in the entire congress.
Actually - Van Jones did apologize for that.
The truth can sometimes be embarrassing, Congressman Clyburn. As for McCain, he's beneath the contempt of every responsible conservative.
John McCain; I don’t know who you speak for. But you don’t speak for me.
Beginning to look like the Viet Cong really did break McCain after all.
