It’s like the Marx Brothers’ movie where Groucho, taking his usual flim-flammer role, berates the suddenly enlightened customer who sees right before her eyes the contradiction of what he’s been claiming:
“What are you going to believe? Me, or your lying eyes!?”
In Groucho’s case, it’s a big joke, but the joke with these MSM honchos is that they actually take themselves seriously when they say these things to their rapidly dwindling audience.
To be fair, the bulk of credit should go to Glenn Beck who through TV program pushed for the issue, and being picked up and went viral through the internet. I think this should be a good model for conservative movements: use all media to get a coherent message out. We will be better served if we do not down right reject the MSM (in terms of ‘form’, FNC is a mainstream media) but take advantage of them in whatever way we can, and combine them with the ‘new media’.
NBC might as well have been the Nader Broadcasting Corporation on November 17. For its Dateline NBC segment on G.M. pickups, the network hired a trial lawyers' advocacy group to crash the trucks. Testers overfilled one truck's gas tank, used a nonstandard gas cap that popped off on impact, and strapped remote-controlled model-rocket engines to the truck's frame to guarantee a fire.Here's the link.

Van Jones may have use the “A” word, but Glenn Beck ripped the MSM a new one tonight. He showed the entire nation the MSM was completely MIA.

Beck and others with large audiences need to do this on a regular basis. The Sheeple will be slow to wake, stubbornly resisting. But if you give enough examples like this one, it might get through.
