They’ve got nothing. These are the same tactics they used to get stimulus passed - lots of impromptu pressers declaring that they “have the votes”, trying desperately to give political cover to fence-sitters who could legitimately put it over the top. The same is going on here. If they had the votes, they’d vote it in before anyone changes their mind.
They got nothin’.

If Obama, Pelosi and Reid succeed in nationalizing health care, they will be emboldened. They will go on to shut down free speech and political debate as well. That's when the shooting starts. People will take only so much.
