These folks use the term ‘samurai’ because they don't what it means. The actual definition of ‘samurai’ is a descendant of certain royal Japanese bloodlines. You were a ‘samurai’ whether you were a warrior or a bureaucrat; if you were not born a samurai, then no amount of training could make you one...

What they really should have said was “martial artist” or “bushido” mind training. And as we both know the mental techniques of martial arts still have application today.
