There are at least 15 of the Czars who are absolutely crazy people. Holgren is only one of them. Anyone with sanity would not engage Rahm Emmanuel’s brother Ezechiel for anything having to do with health. The Science advisor is a complete flake. Sustern, and on and on ... For crying out loud: look at Michelle! Anyone who believes that Ayres, Rev.Wright, and Dear Leader’s “Most Liberal Senator” voting record were anomalies should have their head examined.

I honestly believe that other than the few Bush administration appointees that Dear Leader kept on, the MOST Conservative person in the whole administration is ... dare I say it... Hillary Clinton.

I can’t take credit, i’ve seen it a couple times over the weekend.

Yeah, the phrase has been percolating since at least July - but the Van Jones thing seems to have kicked it into hyperdrive.

Green on the outside, red on the inside. Perfect! From this point forward I will refer to him as Watermelon Jones.

Makes me think of Blind Willie Johnson, Sunnyland Slim, Pinetop Perkins, Blind Willie McTell, or T-Model Ford. The difference, of course, is they were (or are) all great bluesmen, artists of remarkable skill and talent.

Watermelon Jones is just a pathetic, bombastic, failed community organizer (communist).

Surely it is obvious to everyone that the precise purpose of naming “Czars” is to avoid vetting?

"Surely it is obvious to everyone that the precise purpose of naming “Czars” is to avoid vetting?"

Apparently not.

Tell that to the MSM... and maybe Congress, too.

Watermelon Jones

Heh. Sounds like the title of a '70s "blaxploitation" film. :-)

This is a GREAT article. Explains a lot of what is behind the “green” movement in government.

Give the guy credit. Had he been allowed to "revolutionize" agriculture, those predictions of hundreds of millions of starving people from the 60s and 70s could still come true. He's have been forward thinking, like his boss.

A little off topic, but he was the outdoors guy and I haven't pinged anything for a while. The Yekaterinburg connection puzzles me a bit.

I warned the US of the “smorgasbord of scuzzballs, incompetents, time servers, Communists, class warriors, eco-loons, single-issue rabble-rousers, malcontents and losers who always rise to the surface during a left-liberal administration.”

Their reward for electing a President "just like us," one presumes. When we see the word "progressive" we have a fair idea what the expanded definition consists of.

As I suggested in my headline there can only be one sensible solution to this embarrassment of Czars, and its one that Bolsheviks on both sides of the Atlantic will be cheerily familiar. Think Czar Nicholas II. Think Yekatarinburg. Think July 1918. Its the only language these people understand.

I'm not entirely sure political enthusiasm needs to extend to the point of the bayonet for this gaggle of wide-mouthed fools, although it is a temptation. Give them a bayonet and I'm guessing they'd have fewer scruples - the ones on the other end of it from the Czars were, in fact, Bolshevik thugs that were indistinguishable from their victims except that they hadn't expropriated their luxurious possessions just yet.

I am more concerned that once in place the oncoming Republicans will fail to end these outrageous offices and be content merely with dislodging the occupants. Apparatchiks and Commissars will happily work for whomever is paying. And they tend to get paid very well.

I think that’s where the revolutionaries kept Czar Nicholas II and his family in the basement for a while, then came down and shot them all dead.
