I have been a fan of Gov. Palin, since her national introduction. And I agree with the author of this article. But recently, I have felt frustration with what seems to be a case of agoraphobia on the part, on a few occasions. I realise that she is in a low profile reorganisation period, and there are lirterally thousands of groups that want her to speak tyo their members. But I really thought that she should have made time to appear at the Reagan library event, and that she should also have spoken at the national meeting of Republican Women meeting. These, in my mind, were critical events that could have advanced and given her valuable support, whatever path she chooses. And to me it came across as somewhere between petulant, and agoraphobic, that it was made to appear that she pulled out at the last moment from them. This could be miscommunication, but it’s happened several times now. Either there is a incompetant press secretary somewheres, or I find myself wondering if she’s gone gunshy.

Or she could be biding her time. Or she could have decided not to seek election

Mark Twain said it well, “Go where you're wanted much little, and little not at all.”

I expect the explosion of pure hate and vitriol that was loosed on her from the moment of her selection by John McCain took her by surprise. Not surprise that it came along but just how determined and unfettered it was. She probably needs several months to build up her titers before she wades into it again.

She's my man, so to speak, until she proves otherwise!

Palin must go . . . To the White House!

I thought I read that she has been in San Diego with a writer writing her memoir. This is very important because she is going to need as much money as she can get in order to run for POTUS. I can understand why she felt this important to do and I can’t see Agoraphobia in any of her actions. I know Agoraphobia well...my sister has it and I was married to a man who had it.

It's all about the book right now. She has to finish the book. Her book will be timed just right so that it goes nuclear on NY Times and Amazon about a month or two before the mid-term elections. She knows as well as you and I that the survival of the Republic may very well hinge on those coming elections.

I think with all the flack Obama is taking lately it’s wise for her to avoid too much of the spotlight. Otherwise she may offer a target to redirect attention away from Obama.

I’m under the impression that she never had any intention to appear at those events promoting her. She would have attended if there were mutual agreement. If any of them had a signed contract, surely we would have seen one by now.
I suspect she is choosing her venues carefully, afer the Republicans threw her under the bus during the Mc Cain campaign.
She really could have made all the difference in the two weeks after the convention, but she was misdirected in a manner that was so bad, it could have only been planned on purpose.
Why should she jump right back in to that? I suspect she will be running her own game heading into the 2010 elections, meeting with Republicans only when it suits her. I wouldn’t blame her for rounding up 200 of the most conservitave congressional candidates, and working with them to uproot the liberal/moderate insiders at the state and local level within the party.(thats what I would be doing if I were in her shoes)
