President Obama's green jobs czar resigned early this morning after a series of controversial comments sparked a firestorm of criticism.
Van Jones, an environmental adviser for the president, had been linked to derogatory comments about Republicans and efforts to suggest that the government had a role in the 9/11 terrorist attacks.
Jones apologized Thursday saying, "It certainly does not reflect my views, now or ever," but the White House did not seem satisfied with this explanation.
In announcing his resignation, Jones said he was the victim of a “vicious smear campaign.”
The resignation, disclosed without advance notice by the White House in an e-mail minutes into Sunday on a holiday weekend, came as Obama is working to regain his footing in the contentious health care debate.
Jones, an administration official specializing in environmentally friendly “green jobs” with the White House Council on Environmental Quality was linked to efforts suggesting a government role in the 2001 terror attacks and to derogatory comments about Republicans.

The problem is in 4 years, should we get another Administration (Pubbie or Dem), many of these folks will still have their jobs. They will not be removed quickly or possibly at all.

I have a feeling now that Van Jones has resigned, he will back a full blown assault on Glenn Beck and others through his “colorofchange” organization. I don’t think he is the type to just slink away quietly!! Something or someone will feel the wrath of him losing his comfy post in the WH administration, aka propaganda spewing post.
That is why the radical censor Wayne ROSS must be ousted from the FCC next.
The Czars can be removed by any admin easily.
He’ll resurface to serve Obama in a surreptitious way. Marxists will never change their stripes or devotion to their manifesto.

However, the Dems will just replace them with someone new. The Pubbies, since they have no spine, will leave them in place and possibly replace them They’ll all buddies these day and everybody needs a job.

Believe me...this guy isn’t going any where....he will just remain in the shadows. That’s why, IMO, it’s important to press relentlessly on Obama about his choice(s). America needs to know that Obama’s mindset is exactly the same as those he’s surrounded himself with. He said so himself!!
