Kinda funny that Farah was on Twitter posting/complaining a couple days ago his irritation with Fox News.

"I'm getting tired of Fox News shows ripping off WND's exclusive content without attribution. It's unethical and unprofessional. Am I wrong?"

Now Farah posts: "Coming up in minutes! WND drives Van JOnes from office"

WND may have "broken" this story in April, but it has been Glenn Beck hammering it over the last two weeks that brought real results.

BECK, DEFENDGLENN.COM, GATEWAY PUNDIT

Yep. Pretty much in that order too.

this started when
- glenn beck called obama racist
- then color of change group started advocating advertisers to boycott glenn beck
- glenn beck goes on holidays
- sarah palin asked friends on facebook to watch glenn beck segment
- glenn beck comes back and slam color of change group and find out a founder now work for obama
- glenn beck investigates van jones
- van jones resign

if you go back further
- this started when obama called a white cop “acted stupidily” without knowing all the facts, which prompted glen beck to call obama a racist

WND didn’t break anything. They never do. It got old a long time ago.
4rcane’s post is exactly right about how Beck followed up on this, but Trevor Loudon broke the Van Jones story and Farah is what Van Jones called Republicans.
A couple of weeks ago I sent a FRmail to a couple people with link to info that no one had found before because it was in a place where you just would not expect it to be.
A couple of days after that, it shows up on WND as a Corsi exclusive.
WND doesn’t care as long as they get hits. Frankly, they need an enema...the kind they advertise on their front page all the damn time.

It was Beck and all his researchers and watchdogs.

Just because someone says something doesn’t make them the one’s who brought this guy down.

Beck did ALL the heavy lifting on this. You won’t see them going after WND, they will be going after Beck.

Minor Event.

We need to Focus on Bringing Down the entire “Red” Administration.

And put Traitors where they belong.

I was taken to task by a fellow FReeper for stating on another thread that I left WND years ago for their “being a hit-and-miss” site. I was called anti-conservative and doing the work of Obama. I hope you FReepers get your armor on should that individual come upon this thread.

BTW, I agree. WND wasn’t the force behind this resignation, Glenn Beck was. And good for him.

Glenn Beck is probably too humble, but he has been really leading the charge for ALL of us who thought we were never going to be heard. Beck listened. He heard us. He put his staff to work doing research and ASKED for our input. He never took the credit he deserves, but I got to tell you, he was the FIRST one out there with his face in the camera telling the o to bring it on.
He convinced millions of individuals they were NOT alone and now they aren’t. He has done something I have not seen in my lifetime.
Beck will go down in history as the leader of a New American Revolution.
Rush started it with his “fail” speech. Glenn ran with it...and Rush is backing him up 100%.
We SURROUND them. YES!!!

“Farah needs to stop exaggerating so much and do some honest investigative journalism, which is what he claims to provide but rarely does.”

That is why I call it “WindbagNetDaily.”

WND generates more than its share of methane gas.

He will be missed.

He's just been taken out of the spotlight. I'd bet he's still going to be in the mix with Obamalamadingdong's Marxist plans. The White House has very sophisticated secure video conferencing systems. Valarie Jarret is the one that needs to go now. She's the one who apparently recruited this jerk, among others, and is on tape proudly proclaiming so......

You’re right about the sequence of this. This is a big win for Beck because it was his show that was under attack, and now, instead of his show on the ropes, one of the founders of the organization behind those attacks has lost a position in this administration. BIG WIN! We shouldn’t lose site of that fact.

It’s hard to believe that Zippy& co. were willing to give FNC a victory re. Jones.

They must think his presence would interfere with their new health care initiative which, according to F&F this AM, will include an outreach to Republicans.

I hope and pray the pubbies tell him to cram it and that part of Obama’s scheme blows up in his face. I fear, however, that someone on the Republican side (Grassley? Snowe?) is giving Zip encouragement to keep on with the bi-partisan charade.

I just read the article and there were some attributions, for example, to New Zeal with the name of its operator.

Another arrogant nonsensical claim by Joseph Farah of WND. If anyone deserves credit for the fall of Van Jones; it is Glenn Beck and Fox News Channel.

I suspect that's the nub of it. As I posted on another thread, Jones came along at the end of a month-long bad news cycle for the administration, and just prior to what the administration considers a major speech before congress. This was simply another bad news story they didn't want to deal with right now.

As for bi-partisanship, it should be damned regarding this issue (ObamaCare). Nothing that comes out of congress will be what the people want. It's simply become too polarizing an issue. Unless it comprises simple, solid reforms to the already existing system, leaving government control out of the picture, we must remain mobilized and revolutionary. No compromise!

Yes, isn’t it? They published his letter of resignation at 12:00 midnite and tried to scuttle it through the weekend lack of press coverage.

That’s how Obama does everything, if you’ll remember...they put amendments in bills in the dead of the night and then they try to rush through the vote next morning...like there’s some big crisis going on.

That’s why I think we all need to keep a cool head about the H1N1 pandemic (snort). The virus has been around for years and never created a pandemic event yet all of a sudden it’s a crisis meant to panic Americans. Some are afraid he’s going to use this crisis to implement martial law, and I too am afraid we’re going to wake up one morning and America is a done deal! He’s like a freaking vampire.

I don’t know how much credit WND should get in this matter. I do know that Glenn Beck did the majority of the grunt work. If WND deserves credit, then credit to them. Thanks WND and Glenn Beck.

I suspect that the public as a whole is just turned off by the healthcare debate right now. The proponents of Obamacare would be smart just to back off for a while. But they’re libs and their nature is to overreach, so we can expect them to keep on pushing.

That actually should be good news for our side.

“Trevor Loudon, a communist researcher and administrator of the New Zeal blog, identified several Bay area communists who worked with STORM, including Elizabeth Martinez, who helped advise Jones’ Ella Baker Human Rights Center, which Jones founded to advocate civil justice. Jones and Martinez also attended a “Challenging White Supremacy” workshop together.”

This is what they attributed. THe WHOLE New Zeal article was almost the exact article WND published, not just this particular point. It was the New Zeal article who quoted Machete as well and their quote was ALSO repaeated by WND. WND was very sneaky about this stuff.
