It's not about that. It's the citified way of thinking that us okey dokes are stupid and easily frightened.
We have hundreds of millions of firearms and tens of billions of rounds, what ever do we have to be frightened of? No army or combination of armies in the world would dare take us on. Here’s a quote from the 1940’s: “You cannot invade the mainland United States. There would be a rifle behind each blade of grass.” ~Fleet Admiral Isoroku Yamamoto, Commander, Imperial Japanese Navy.
Edzackly! This third-world attempt at a socialist/communist coup of capitalism might have worked in some banana republic, but not in America- where we have GUNS and GUTS.
That's right, Mr. and Mrs. Citydweller, your collectivist ideals, built upon and reinforced with FEAR don't play in a country where the majority are armed.
First Tea Parties, then Townhalls get in their face and they realize it ain't gonna be a cakewalk. Not even Union Muscle in Purpe T-shirts can deter the rebellion against a socialist coup attempt.
Worst still, these Kansas City Faggots (thanks Blazing Saddles) in this administration don't even know when to pick fruit. They thought America was ripe for socialism, what with all the Nanny State bullcrap we've been subject to all these years.
What, people don't ride Harley Davidsons through Chicago anymore? (wouldn't blame them, ya got the highest homicide rate of any big city) Did ya miss what's been going on at the street level by people expressing a real desire to "be free" and demonstrating it by the thousands every weekend in almost every town across America?
Americans were looking for some Change, not socialism. Americans were and have been Hoping for government to 'get off their backs', not jump on them like a tax addicted crack-head.
Fixing Health Care is not a big deal, fixing what's wrong with America is. Trying to do both by destroying capitalism is not only wrong, it is treasonous.
Profit is what drives people to take risks, work hard, invent and invest, and get educated so they can 'compete' in society. Take that away, and what you are left with are people laying on their backsides waiting for a check from Uncle Sugar.
I'll withhold further critism of this administration (Obama) as they have more than three years to vindicate themselves. Given their start out of the gate, I'm not optimistic about them receiving redemption by reversing course. It could happen, but I wouldn't bet on it.
