Bob Beckel said on Fox this morning that Obama White House green jobs czar Van Jones will be canned by Tuesday. Beckel reasoned that Jones's background is simply indefensible for a White house appointment, and wondered if the FBI screwed up because they must not have uncovered this in the vetting process.
Former White House staffers I’ve spoken with say they would bet the FBI uncovered much of Jones’s past--especially if Jones truthfully answered their questions. What would then happen is this: the background report would go to the Counsel’s office (run by Greg Craig), who would then raise the question of whether what the FBI found was disqualifying with the the potential employee’s boss. Jones was hired by Council on Environmental Quality Chair Nancy Sutley, but he presumably (and ultimately) reports to the chief of staff, Rahm Emanuel. Emanuel must have decided that nothing in Jones’s background was alarming enough to prevent his appointment.
So even if Jones is thrown overboard this weekend, it’s worth asking: Did Rahm sign off on Jones’s appointment despite what the FBI must have discovered about his background. And, incidentally--did Jones tell the truth to the FBI?
I’ve sent an email asking this question to Rahm Emanuel’s office. I’ll report when he gets back to me.

So Obama knew everything this COMMIE, said, did or had done. Ergo, the conclusion is that Obama approves and agrees with Jones' un-American ideas!

Exactly. It's obvious on its face that Jones's background is precisely what qualified him to be Obama's czar.
The approach on the talk shows and columns should be presumptive--that all the customary inquiries and investigations were done, ergo, the WH knew it all and waved him through anyway. The WH would instantly and loudly correct the record if that were incorrect, and would have to provide evidence of what did happen. By politely posing the question, "who vetted him?", the WH can dance around with their non-answer answers and outright lies.

Jones has mellowed considerably since the '90s. In some respects, he is about as mainstream as environmentalists come -- with recognition streaming in from high places over the past few years.
He's won plaudits from former Vice President Al Gore, who declared, "I love Van Jones," in an interview with The New Yorker.
Actor Leonardo DiCaprio penned the write-up on Jones when the presidential adviser was featured in Time magazine's 100 "Most Influential People."
"Steadily -- by redefining green -- Jones is making sure that our planet and our people will not just survive but also thrive in a clean-energy economy," DiCaprio wrote.
Jones was also named one of the magazine's "Heroes of the Environment 2008." He's earned a slew of other recognitions from other publications and institutions. He was even named one of Salon.com's "Sexiest Men Living" in late 2008.
Plus he's the author of the 2008 New York Times best-seller, "The Green Collar Economy."
Now a member of the White House Council on Environmental Quality, his book's central premise is that environmentalism and green jobs can lift up the economy and lift up low-income Americans.
He is the founder of Green for All, which focuses on creating green jobs in poor areas. He helped the city of Oakland pass a "green jobs corps" program in 2007. Green jobs is also one platform of the Ella Baker Center for Human Rights, which he co-founded in 1996.
He also co-founded Color of Change, an advocacy group that focuses on black issues, after Hurricane Katrina in 2005.
IOW he's become an albatross for the whole Watermelon community, much as the traitor and Soviet spy of the 1930's and 1940's, Alger Hiss, became for the Truman administration and the liberal community then. Truman being a partriot, Hiss was eased out of the administration. The Illegal Alien not being one, and Jones having the tremendous support shown by the above quotation, removing him from the administration could be far more difficult.
The really notable thing is what the Watermelons' and MSM's near universal support for the radical whack job Jones says about the Watermelons and the MSM.

Not in his official capacity, but what's to stop him from reuniting with his former group and waiting for billions of stimulus funds to come his way courtesy of his master in chief? He might be more dangerous out than in.

If by some chance - albiet very slim, Jones goes away Tue. as Beckel predicts, then Husein will simpily replace him with some one of equal or greater extreme ccommunist views.

I’m willing to bet the FBI didnt take much of a look at all if any at this guy, they may have asked him a few questions which he probably lied about. I mean anyone can just do a google search on this guy and find out his radical views and ties to radical organizations like STORM.
