Huh? I'm not pretending anything. I have a great deal of respect for Palin (and Reagan for that matter). My point was that the contemporary RNC machine does not appear to share deeply in that respect. And if the RNC disses her in 2012, and she runs on another ticket, a whole slew of us will follow -- assuming she holds it together for the next three years.

Rather than telling me to leave Palin out, how about you encourage the RNC to keep her in? That would seem infinitely more productive use of your energy.

People need to make up their own names for all the third party talk, they can’t just keep using the names of the most popular leaders of the GOP in their conversations and pitches.
