By mid-Friday, it was clear that the days of green jobs czar Van Jones are numbered in the Obama administration. Forget radio shock jock Glenn Beck, who's trying to get Jones fired. Even White House spokesman Robert Gibbs offered only lukewarm enthusiasm for keeping Jones.
On Friday Gibbs said, "He continues to work in the administration..."
Oh, and Gibbs added that Obama does not agree with Jones' signing of a petition to investigate possible federal involvement in 9/11.

It took a long time for Obama to disown Rev. Wright and if he dismisses Jones it looks like he’s caving to the Glen Beck.

Pretty much. I’m sure President Obama was unaware of Jones’ outrageous comments, just as he was unaware of Wright’s outrageous comments. If you believe Obama was spending his Sunday mornings sitting in a church pew, I have great bridge in Brooklyn to sell you.
Obama needs to have people vetted properly before he gives them jobs or public endorsements. And he needs to make sure the people doing the vetting know that they’re NOT expected to be “yes men”.
Why doesn’t everybody just drop it now. Let him stay. Every day Jones is there makes ZERO look worse.
His actions say otherwise, by investigating the CIA.
