The White House would not say whether the White House's green-jobs czar, who has been linked to Sept. 11 conspiracy theorists, continues to enjoy the confidence of the president, but an official said he is still a part of the administration.
Van Jones, the president's special adviser for green jobs at the White House Council on Environmental Quality (CEQ), has come under fire this week for using an obscenity to describe Republicans and for signing a petition to get Congress to investigate whether the terrorist attacks of Sept. 11, 2001, were an inside government job.
White House press secretary Robert Gibbs would only say Friday that Jones, no stranger to controversial or offensive statements, is still a part of the administration. He declined to say if Jones still has the confidence of the president.
In a meeting with reporters in his West Wing office, Gibbs referred numerous questions about Jones to the CEQ and a statement Jones released Thursday saying he did not agree with the petition signed by so-called "truthers."
Gibbs did say the president disagrees with those statements as well.
He also sympathizes with the people who killed 3,000 innocents. If people like him dislike America as much as they do, they should leave.

For anyone to think that 0bama and even the First Frump did not know the background of this commie is foolish. Van Jones, along with the others of questionable backgrounds, is exactly what is wanted and I dare say any vetting by the Secret Service or FBI was simply overruled by 0bama.
And if we were to go back to the campaign video of 0bama stating ( with ol McCain sitting next to him in the video) the people with whom he would surround himself with for advice you would see what he said then is a far cry from what he has done.
I wish we could get 0bama Impeached.

Please, can you imagine what this dude would be like if Obama actually pissed him off?
They know he’s out of control and is unlikely to go quietly into the night, a la Jeremiah Wright.
In fact, they may be fearful that if they tick off Jones, Wright and all the others under the bus will appear and take to their podiums to thunder their appalling hatemongering that most of America did not believe actually existed in the black community.

Van Jones is just another one of the Obama admisistration’s group thinkers.
