What I was saying was that you have a tendency to quickly ‘categorize’ posters, sometimes unfairly.
I do acknowledge that you have shown a great amount of civility in dealing with the rash comments from some posters.
I also acknowledge that you have respected the difference in our personal views. It is one of the reasons I enjoy debating this subject with you.
Back to the original question, I was referring to your comment that seemed to indicate there were only two points of view, both extremist.
Nobody’s perfect. But I do try to remain cordial with those I disagree with so long as they show me the same respect. But if they start calling Creation/ID scientists flat earthers, or Luddites, or cretins, etc, then they will probably find that they bit off a little more than they originally anticipated.
As for your question, the Bible is very clear, there is a very real battle (no matter how imperfect our understanding of it) going on between good and evil. And the Bible is very clear that God-denying evo-atheists are on the side of evil...and the Bible is just as harsh towards their contingent of fellow travelers who should know better, but instead persecute those who bear witness to the truth. If you want to call that extremist, then your argument is with Holy Scripture, not me.
