I guess this Yale Law School grad---Stoopnagle Jones---and Obaha a**-kisser Valerie Jarrett---still have not figured out that Communism collapsed many years ago.
Wow, who would have thought we’d reach the point where we almost hoped for another McCarthy?
If they are bold enough to appoint unrepentant hard core revolutionary socialists to public positions - how many of them have quietly slipped in the side door?
From the Clinton era internal dismantling of State and CIA to the Obamas current appointments our country may be fighting against this infestation for generations.

McCarthy was nearly 100% accurate in the scope, specifics and magnitude of the Communist infiltration.
We should ALWAYS be at the point of “hoping for another McCarthy”.
Way back in my college years, I learned that there are those who are very competent at memorizing textbooks, only to hand back whatever the professor wants to hear. Yet these same individuals are completely incompetent at a functional level in society. Our universities are loaded with these people. Their intellect is a mile long, and a foot deep. This typifies the Obama mind set.
Jones wants to empower a Clean Energy Corps modeled on the 1930s Civilian Conservation Corps to “retrofit America” by weatherizing millions of leaky homes, small businesses, schools and other public buildings. Like Sarah Palin, he invokes “Joe Sixpack,” but he sees him “in a green hard hat installing windows and wielding a caulk gun.”
The program would include volunteers, people in job training programs and permanent employment, too, and the recruits would come from every spectrum of society, including prison. Jones’ Civic Justice Corps would give ex-offenders a new career and a green job.
“The Bush administration left us with a big mess,” Jones told me. “We need solutions that solve a lot of problems all at once.” The process of putting people to work installing solar panels and making wind turbines, he said, will “require thousands of contracts and millions of jobs — producing billions of dollars in economic stimulus.”
Jones notes wryly that the $700 billion bailout gives bipartisan endorsement to the idea of taking government handouts. If it’s good enough for Citigroup, Wells Fargo and AIG...But Jones is somewhat wary of handing a blank check to the embattled auto industry unless it gets its priorities straight.
“The big dogs barking for bailout money has drowned out common sense,” he said. “We’ve had too narrow a view of what to do with our industrial sector. We need to think about what we want to make in America. We should be using our Boeing-level engineering talent to manufacture wind turbines, which are made with 20 tons of steel and 8,000 parts. We should be making solar panels, hybrid buses and light rail cars.”
Using his authority to issue executive orders, Obama could begin greening the economy “on day one,” Jones says. “Then he can go to Congress for back up.” The interesting thing about all this is that, after eight years in the wilderness, people like Jones are very likely to get a respectful hearing from the incoming Democrats.
Jones is a senior fellow at the Center for American Progress (CAP), which also spawned one of the co-chairs of President-elect Obama’s transition team, John Podesta. In September, Podesta offered a ringing endorsement of a CAP report that is very much in the spirit of what Jones proposes.
“This report demonstrates how a new Green Recovery program that spends $100 billion over two years would create two million new jobs, with a significant proportion in the struggling construction and manufacturing sectors,” Podesta said. “It is clear from this research that a strategy to invest in the greening of our economy will create more jobs, and better jobs, compared to continuing to pursue a path of inaction marked by rising dependence on energy imports alongside billowing pollution.”
Long-shut doors are opening. “I don’t talk directly to Obama,” Jones told me. “But I have some opportunities to share my ideas and thinking with the new administration.” What a difference an election makes!
The last idiot Communist hold-outs live in the United States. Even the Chinese have figured out if they want prosperity they have to adopt Capitalism.
I was talking with a Marxist a few weeks back - and my point with him was that it never works - even on the "commune" level. I asked him what his "reason" was for why communism didn't work in any real world situations - ( Marxists always have a reason ) - his take was that Marx "missed" on "labor" - that it's "natural resources"... I just gave up.
Too much to hear all the ever changing excuses as to why this bankrupt philosophy doesn't work... never works. Will never work. Never will work. Never. Never. Never. Van Jones is one of the last hold outs.

I don’t think Jones believes in, or even understands Communism.
In his abject ignorance, he just seees it as the easiest way to level the abysmal racial difference in OUTCOMES.
Note I did not say leveling the playing field. Racists are not interested in equality of opportunity which, at a minimum, has existed in America for decades.
The reasons for these gaping racial differences in outcome are, of course, highly politically incorrect.
Blacks from other countries do just fine here. And their children - until they pick up on the black "victim mentality" - which IS the reason American blacks can't get ahead. Face it - people have to work for their piece of the pie - it's NOT "awarded" as a prize for being the "most pathetic", or angry, or "put upon".
That said, the black culture before liberals put the curse of welfare on them did just fine - abet under horrible conditions ( yes, there really was ugly racism in the past). The black marriage rate and the white rate were identical until welfare destroyed the black family and threw black men out of the home. That's what caused the anger ... destroying the black family... and it was liberals who did it.

Still, from the very little I’ve been able to stomach in listening to Jones, I still doubt whether he grasps the full implications of Marx’ ideology.
