The audacity of these liars to lie in such incredible brazenness is simply shocking. However they lie because they can. They lie because they know that 90% of the media will hide their lies, will defend their lies, will protect them, and will savagely attack anyone who criticizes them.

Sort of like the famous Groucho Marx joke, when the wife comes home and catches the husband in bed with another woman. The man jumps up and denies it saying, “who are you going to believe, me or your own lying eyes?” That’s Van Jones trying to get out of this.

He signed the petition and that is what he believed and now he denies it because it is expedient to do so.
