Dear Mr. President Obama:
I am in the fifth grade at Jimmy Carter elementary school.
Mrs. Crissy Matthews, my teacher, told us that we could write down questions we would like to ask you after we listened to your speech to school kids on Sept. 8, 2009.
My mom and dad told me to ask you this question, something about your Hawaii birth certificate: WOW! You were born in Hawaii? Cool.
Here goes. Why won't you let Hawaii send us your long form birth certificate?
My mom and dad told me to tell you that you can see my long form birth certificate any time you want.
Mom and dad asked me to ask you why you won't let us see your college records, but I don't know what a college is, because I am only in the fifth grade. Mom and dad told me it is some place I am going to when I finish high school.
Mom and dad said that you can see my grade school records any time you want, so they don't understand why you won't let us see your college records.
Sincerely,
mirse
