This morning I awoke late because my non-regulated Chinese built radio did not go off. It is powered by expensive electricity generated by a private power company using coal and gas because the U.S. Department of Energy will not permit use of safe nuclear power.
I take a shower in chlorinated smelly water provided by the local utility who regularly over-chlorinates because they” would rather be safe than sorry”.
After that I tuned in to private cable TV Fox News, which has some semblance of balance because the FCC does not control them. I thanked Hughes, Loral, Motorola, Echo Star and Teledesic, a company with the backing of Bill Gates and Craig Mc Caw, who had risked private enterprise money to get the first communication satellites launched.
I watched this while eating my subsidized American farmer grown four dollar a box cereal and taking the drugs which have developed at great expense by the U.S. pharmaceutical companies and released two years late because of because of inept handling on the part of the FDA.
At approximately the proper time (I cant afford a good watch) I get into my U.S. private industry built car ( 2004 when it was still private).
I head to the car lot to trade in my clunker for cash but I am told by the dealer that they will not participate in the “Cash for Clunkers” program because the Government is too screwed up to pay on time. I head on to work on pot holed scarred roads stopping to purchase additional fuel.I buy discount gas to help mitigate the affect of Obama’s “Inflation Geld”. I use my Citi Bank credit card at 24% interest.
On the way I deposit my package with FedEx confident that it will be delivered on time. I then drop the kids off at the public school and walk them to the door to insure that they reach it safely. As I walk away two thugs accost me, but they back off as I draw my nine mm and shoot one of them in the knee. So much for government protection.
After spending another day not being maimed or killed at work thanks to the safety practices which I employ as it makes sense to do so, I enjoy another meal which has not putrefied because of the preservatives thoughtfully added by the manufacturer. I then drive bumpily home, denting my fender as I hit another car dodging a particularly large pot hole. The other car is owned by a scumbag lawyer who clutches his neck and promises to sue me for everything I own.
I finally make it to my house which has not burned down in my absence but has been foreclosed on by Freddie-Mac thanks to Barney Franks boyfriend. Well at least it has not been bombed to smithereens thanks to the killing and maiming of terrorists by the United States Marine Corps.
And then I log on to the Internet — which was invented by Al Gore - and post on Freerepublic.com and Fox News forums about how SOCIALISM in medicine is BAD because the government can't do anything right.

My guess is that they didn’t like the way the first poll was going, so they changed it and emphasized the *the former pitcher for the Boston Red Sox and longtime Republican supporter* part in an effort to discredit him.

Dear, no matter how much polling tweaking you're doing, it doesn't change the fact that your State MN as well as MS,CA,NY,etc. will never change unless the great unwashed start learning "How to Vote 101 and why".

Internet mass poll killing, don't amount to hill of beans. It is just a "feel" good thing, what's counting is the vote on election day!

You want to do something constructive? Have your facts together and set weekends sit in's at your local supermarket and/or high traffic store and be prepared to face everything and anything along the way.
It is an eye opener, mind you.
