Karl Rove was on Hannity last night (? I think it was Hannity), and his estimate was that there are maybe only 5 million who are really “falling through the cracks” on health care due to no insurance or no money, and seemed to feel that many of these are transient/temporarily in this position. His point was that it is completely ridiculous to change the entire system instead of trying to solve the problem for the few. I hope that message is getting out somehow.

The 47 million number is cut down quite a bit once you remove illegals, young people who can afford insurance but don’t buy it and those who could be on current welfare programs but aren’t.
