I don’t actually apologize for anyone, I just observe and make comments. Many here think these comments appear to be apologetic, but that is because they do not agree and wish it so. In reality, I just try to offer a contrasting point of view. I really don’t care at all, what religion someone is.

I do admit to visiting Mosques years back, not hanging out in them. But since 9/11, I haven’t been in the ME, and I visited a Mosque in FL a couple times, but found the atmosphere not conducive to positive thinking or peace of mind.

"I just observe and make comments."

Perhaps you should try "observing" what the tenets of Islam are, what the obligatory duty of every Muslim is, and what the goal of Islam is until either the entire world belongs to "Allah", or the last day.

There really isn't any "contrasting view" for you to offer, unless it's that of an apologist for Islam trying to muddy the waters.

There is no such thing as a "moderate Muslim" Nor such a thing as "extremists who have hijacked their religion". There are only those who have yet to fulfill their ordained obligations, and those who are fully engaged in doing so.
