Agree 100%. When ostammer won the election we HOPED that this was not the truth, but my husband and I both knew it was a false hope.

Obama is a tool - a very disposable tool once his liabilities exceed his value as a mouthpiece and a destroyer. There’s your Reichstag Fire event...

Similar to Glenn Beck’s series of shows last week discussing the czars and the lies of this administration. Don’t trust anything out of Washington especially if it comes from the White House or anybody tied to the White House. It is most likely a lie.

If Obama does raise taxes, he risks facing a GIGANTIC backlash from "blue dog" Democrats--which is a huge fraction of the middle class here in the USA. Historically, it is the middle class that economically grew this country, and losing the middle class to create a huge working class and a small elite class is asking for a backlash that will be akin what happened to the American colonies after 1763.

Oh yes, we may all be on the government take with mortgage deductions, Medicare, and Social Security, but that does not mean we like socialism.

No, people aren't on the government take because they may avail themselves of a mortgage deduction. Only a simpleton wouldn't take advantage of a small mitigation in the outright theft of their income to fund overwhelmingly leftist causes.

Medicare and Social Security have been funded by further theft, paycheck by paycheck, by government fiat over which the income producer has no control, and has never had control.

VDH mentions 0bama’s numbers tanking. There is actually quite a bit more going on underneath that fact, namely that the media he depended upon for his accession to power haven’t deserted him, but their own influence seems suddenly to have fractured along ideological fault lines leaving the media stranded across a river of mistrust from the bulk of center-right America. That isn’t a gap that seems likely to close in the near future, and they brought it upon themselves. Expect them to become more strident, more insistent, and more mendacious as his numbers continue to drop. They’re losing it, they know they’re losing it, and the same old tricks aren’t going to bring it back.

Obama's policies, all without exception, poll badly. His own approval ratings are tanking faster than almost any president in recent history. Oh yes, we may all be on the government take with mortgage deductions, Medicare, and Social Security, but that does not mean we like socialism. Again, we are in a race for America: how fast can Obama get his agenda through before his own unpopularity dooms it? I think he is just one more, but clearly has one more, setback away from failure.

Once he becomes more valuable as a martyr than as a teleprompter reader, he’s doomed.

THAT is his goal - to destroy this country, to turn it into a third-world socialist hellhole.

And that is hard for many folks to swallow. Why would you want to turn your own home into a hellhole?

I happen to agree that he wants to drastically change things, but the hellhole is a stop on to the way to the real goal. As noted previously, going to a socialist hellhole is the way to destroy this country to make room for and a need for an aristocracy, a ruling class. The goal is power, not destruction. The destruction is a means. The seduction is that they want the power to do 'good'.

The 'good' goals will continually change, but the need for power will remain, as that is the real goal under all the lies.
