You are correct. But enough of our relatives died in that war never the less thinking they were doing the patriotic thing.

WWII definitely had no unparallel. It was devastating.

Can’t agree with that.

The US Civil War, the Peloponnesian war, the Punic was, the Mongol invasions of Europe, just to name a few.

Each sent history in an entirely new direction at a cost of very large percentages of populations
