I don’t know. VA is a right-to-work state, so it may not be a union shop, although it likely is given the nature of the particular industry. VA went for ostammer, so I guess they reap what they sow. The same is true for MI, OH, PA and any other state with a (formerly) heavy manufacturing base that went for ostammer.

I agree for the most part, but keep in mind that’s probably a union shop and they vote rat anyway, so maybe Bush figured what the heck.
