There is absolutely NOTHING wrong with what many FReepers are doing here on this thread. Beck is just as right as any scoffer who lives in denial that any thing is possible.
It is also wrong to belittle and mock anyone who does not share or parrot your arrogant tone. I have seen war from the front line perspective. It is not good to push your best support out the same foxhole you both need survive.
is it a certainty that he can pull it off? no, it isn’t. but is it a potential reality that we should be on the lookout for, rather than deriding as an impossibility? sure as hell is. that’s what glenn is doing. he’s begging to be proved wrong. he’s staking his professional career on it, willing to be seen as a laughingstock if it DOESN”T happen, but at least not sitting idly by and not discussing, in depth, with proof of what has been put in place so far, the potential for what CAN happen. rather than ridiculing him for it, i think he should be applauded for having the guts to talk about what no one else will.
