I think the deal is CNN bought some kind of concession at airports. I hate it too.
Only thing is that I have noticed few people watch it. They are entertaining their kids or reading or something.
I wish somebody could change the situation but I don’tknow that much about it.
The inevitable CNN at every gate really ticks me off. Silence would be a vast improvement. Who decided that people can’t wait for a plane without CNN? Maybe Weather Channel’s relevance to flying I could understand. But the assumption is that people can’t figure out how to occupy themselves for a half hour without cable nooz. I HATE IT! Remember reading? Crosswords? Praying? Napping? Knitting? Thanks, I feel better now.
