Sen. Edward Kennedy Smears the Nation

“On March 19, 2004, President Bush asked: ‘Who would prefer that Saddam’s torture chambers still be open?’ Shamefully, we now learn that Saddam’s torture chambers reopened under new management — U.S. management.”

A speech on the Senate floor, May 10, 2004.

This is exactly the behavior you get with rich, lazy, not very smart, lazy, rich, lazy incumbents. They have a self-perpetuating staff of out-of-control, radical, smart, but resentful people who write this extreme, vicious, and baseless crap for him to read on the Senate floor. Same with the Robert Bork stuff. Same with the Clarence Thomas stuff. The idiot barely knows what he is reading but he is practiced to read it with feeling, no matter how untrue and damaging. And he knows that it is a lie but his specialty is promoting lies with feeling.

Durbin is another one like that. Chucky is worse, it seems he actually believes it. Dingy Harry is another one who is staff-fed and when he pops out of the groove he sounds like an idiot ("Coal is killing us!") because he has no core beliefs other than basic survival and smearing the other guy no matter what. Irresponsible scum.

Now let's see what degenerate the good people/"governor" of Massachusetts come up with to serve out his term. God help us.
