Yes, but it being right in Ted Kennedy's backyard was a coincidence? I think insiders were told the end would come within days. That's why the sudden push to change State Law to make sure the Gov does not appoint a Republican, and that's why I think Obama schedule his vacation on Martha's Vineyard. Now I'm not suggesting that's underhanded, just that I think the white house was aware that the end was near and they made their plans around it.

Everyone had known for months that Kennedy could die any time. It was announced a while back that Zero would go to Martha's Vineyard for vacation, they had no way to know the exact week that Kennedy would die.

As far as the change in the state law. The law was changed five years ago to make sure that the governor COULD NOT appoint a replacement (this was to keep Romney from appointing a Republican if Kerry won in 2004). Kennedy wrote a letter last week asking that the law be changed back so the governor can make an appointment, otherwise a special election is held in four and a half months.

Very doubtful. Don’t believe the media/DNC collusion. Kennedy had probably been too seriously ill for weeks to compose a letter. I heard just once that the letter was written last July, and released last week. That makes much more sense.

fat teddy did not write the letter last week, the letter was made public last week, the letter is actually dated July 2, 2009 and from what I hear the senate president Murray was considering honoring his wishes and now that he's passed I'm sure the law will be changed back to "honor" fat teddy and you can bet everything here in GAYsachusetts will be renamed the ted kennedy something or other, hmmmmmmmm I wonder if that infamous bridge in Chappaquiddick will now be named after him........
