" Keep in mind that it's not the US House or Representatives that defines congressional districts, it's the individual state legislative bodies.
Just because the Republicans have a good year next year, won't necessarily mean that the districts will change in any measurable or favorable way for the Republicans.

Keep in mind that it's not the US House or Representatives that defines congressional districts, it's the individual state legislative bodies.We are talking about a blowout election. In 1994 the GOP won seats all the way down the ballot. If this is a bigger margin we will win control of most important state legislatures. It doesn't even matter if they are RINOs, since when it comes to redistricting votes are on a strictly partisan basis. Naturally conservatives would be preferred for all ideological votes.
