Virginia looks like it will take a turn to the right in November.
On Aug. 21, The Washington Post reported that Deeds is not gaining traction here in Northern Virginia because he's too conservative, relative to the Democrat Party mainstream. And that's not a good thing for a Democrat, since Northern Virginia represents a significant block of the Virginia electorate. In fact, on Aug. 16, The Post also reported that McDonnell and Deeds are polling evenly in even the innermost suburbs of Northern Virginia, with McDonnell leading everywhere else in Virginia. The poll results also indicated McDonnell leading Deeds among self-described political independents.
My prediction: McDonnell will beat Deeds, barring some unforeseen event occurring between now and Nov. 3.
Amen!
Dick also said Hillary would be President.
I think that's much more reasonable and likely. I think 40 is a virtual "sure thing". I believe 50 to 60 is possible if things stay the same or get a little worse, economically. I believe the best - if all the planets align - that the GOP can help for is near 70 seats, which is extremely unlikely.
And it's folks like you who would vote for anything with an R after its name that have given us the RINO infestation.
But no, you would rather attack me as a "loon" simply because I asked for "genuine conservatarians."
Does Morris read Free Republic? Here’s an article I wrote:

We are talking about a blowout election. In 1994 the GOP won seats all the way down the ballot. If this is a bigger margin we will win control of most important state legislatures. It doesn't even matter if they are RINOs, since when it comes to redistricting votes are on a strictly partisan basis. Naturally conservatives would be preferred for all ideological votes.
I’m a skeptic. As Boss Tweed said, “As long as I count the votes, what are you going to do about it?” Does it really sound in character that obama would roll over and accept defeat when a majority of living voters opposed democrats in 2010?
bttt
If Sarah does what she indicated (go to bat for like-thinking candidates) the Left may as well go on vacation for twenty-thirty years. They're done, stick a fork in 'em.
sorry to burst your Palin bubble but she’s no Reagan..not even close.
Thx!!
Well, in Dicky's defense, if it wasn't for some near criminal strong-arming by the Obama thugs in the Iowa caucuses, she probably would have been. When Morris said that, he didn't know that a punk with the backing of the most corrupt, dangerous and dirty political machine - funded by George Soros and an international cabal of Muslim money-men, would be running against her.
Then

or
Get out of the way!
Bitching at Party leaders is not productive.
He would have no choice. If he violates the Constitution and ignores the courts he will find that the American people will not accept an obvious usurper.

I would rather have a 90% Conservative Republican than a Democrat.
Your third party loons only receive 1 to 2% if they are lucky. Just enough to take away from a Republican and
ensure a Democrat victory.
Since you are anti war, you wouldn’t find a conservative Republican to your liking anyways.
Yeah what he said !!!
There remains real danger that it could be TOO LATE.
