Didn’t I mention this already?

Old Professer to neverdem
For about four weeks now I have been posting to many of these Global Warming threads and warning everyone that 2009 is going to be the year that official announcements from various sources, most notably the NOAA, will be the closing argument for the proponents and the proverbial nail in the coffin for the denialists.
Already NOAA has pronounced July 2009 as the warmest sea/ocean temperatures ever recorded and combined land/sea temps as first the 2nd warmest and now, after adjustment, 5th warmest.
This is based on newly combined surface measurements after corrections and adjustments plus rapidly-increasing open sea rises almost .7C in one day, July 12, 2009 alone.
Since then the temperatures are still far ahead of last year and just barely below the aggregate 20 year record line.
By years end if the trend continues unabated, the overall assessment for 2009 will be higher than 1998 or pushing for a tie.
I look for a leak to come out just in time for the December summit in Copenhagen.
Stay tuned...”
Which they have been measuring for about 150 years. Yeah I don’t buy the warmest ever quote.
