Rep. Maxine Waters a hard-liner for public healthcare option (Barf Alert!)

U.S. Rep. Maxine Waters (D-Los Angeles) said she would refuse to vote for a healthcare reform package that did not include a provision for creating a government-run medical insurance plan that would compete with private insurers -- a statement that drew loud cheers Saturday at a town hall meeting at Los Angeles Southwest College. The statement appeared to illustrate hardening lines in the battle over healthcare reform in Congress. Waters voiced dismay with comments made by White House officials last week that have been widely perceived as backing down from the so-called public option.

Of course if someone did write a book with that title they would automatically be branded a racist.

Never mind the fact Michael Moore’s book, “Stupid White Men”.

Speaking of the White HOuse, as it happens the green jobs czar now in the White House hood was an avowed black nationalist arrested in Watts (Maxine’s district) during the Rodney King riots. He spent time in prison where he became an avowed communist and when he ‘matriculated’ into the green movement caught the eye of the Chicago mob when he created the Apollo Alliance and got funding/direction from Wade Rathke’s Tides Foundation. That’s right folks, Van Jones went to prison for his ‘community activism’ in the Rodney King riots and was promoted by the original creator of ACORN for whom Obama was a national trainer in ‘community organizing’ for activism.

Somewhere along the line (long ago), the DNC institutionalized the notion that you can partake of greatness by destroying it. It’s been their religion ever since.

In a nutshell....It is the mentality of the DNC.

If she was a White woman running against any Black, male or female, she would lose. It's called the Tyranny of soft Racism.

To paraphrase our favorite dead “Journalist” Walter Cronkite, That's just the way it is.

Absolutely nothing these days shocks me. While BHO took care to fill the high profile positions with establishment Democrats and some Republicans, it is these low profile mid-level positions which are being stuffed with far left radicals of BHO’s ilk. These people implement policy and fly below the radar screen.

I never thought I’d live to see the day when the U.S. was embracing socialism as rapidly as China is embracing capitalism.

Any ignorant simpleton calling me a “racist” gets an enormous uvula-exposing yawn right back in their illiterate, moronic face.

This is a Christian nation and there have been from the very beginning, and exist still MANY charitable and sympathetic individuals and organizations who assist all the needy, vulnerable and helpless of this society. They will ALWAYS be helped by private and public organizations and it SHOULD be so. What would America be otherwise?

That said, in recent decades, the definition of needy, helpless, vulnerable has been expanded to include ALL and ANY in this country who from laziness, ignorance, or character failings so shamefully and excessively indulged by the MSM and public education that we now have an entire strata of society who are incapable of AND unwilling to help themselves. The DNC has enabled this element to continue its unreasonable and exorbitant demands on the rest of us. Liberal candidates have made careers out of systematically forcing more and more out of taxpayers in order to buy votes for themselves and secure political office. All this while perpetually demonizing the Conservatives in America, the very people who are paying the tab.

It’s called “hyper democracy” or something equally unwholesome and will, stick-by-stick, dismantle everything the founding fathers envisioned for ALL Americans.

It’s like watching a train wreck in slow motion and I am sick of this.

Isn’t Maxine Waters a former Miss Racial Identity, or something similar?
