My son-in-law works at Merc. He didn't have a vote. He's an engineer. Yes, the idiots voted to kill themselves. Sorta like some recent gov’t elections I can remember. ‘Wisconsin’ doesn't DESERVE this any more than any other state.

I’m an engineer also, WI voted for Doyle, We the people who value freedom didn’t vote for this. It’s a sad day for WI and FDL. My hubby and I are praying every day Quad doesn’t follow suit. I’ll bet Doyle is in Europe buying cho-cho trains.

In all likelyhood, they will send Mfg to Oklahoma and set it up with CNC robots. Most likely they will keep design engineering in Fond du Lac. They will all be exempt salaried. The “bargaining unit” will be eliminated.
