Interesting He still has a 21 percent cushion between overall "approve" and "strongly approve" compared to a 10 percent cushion between overall "disapprove" and "strongly disapprove."

I'm not sure how to interpret that.

I have two extrapolations to make:

1. Assuming African-Americans remain loyal to Obama, only 17% of non-African-American voters strongly approve of Obama and only 38% of non-African-American voters somewhat approve.

2. Mindful that Gallup says unaffiliated voters typically combine with Democrat voters to provide Democrats with their margin of victory, the election deciding unaffiliated voters seem to be breaking 2 to 1 against Obama.
