Facing a recent erosion of public support for health-care overhaul, President Obama lashed out at his opponents Saturday for spreading "outrageous myths" on the Internet, television, and at town hall forums.
President Obama talks about health care reform Thursday in Washington.
Republican leaders, in turn, said it was Obama who is guilty of playing "fast and loose with the facts."
They repeated their assertion that the president's proposed government-funded public health insurance option would destroy the current private insurance-based system.
"I'm glad that so many are engaged," Obama said in his weekly radio address. But it should "be an honest debate, not one dominated by willful misrepresentations and outright distortions, spread by the very folks who would benefit the most by keeping things exactly as they are."
Obama emphasized that, contrary to the assertions of many, illegal immigrants will not get health insurance under a reform plan.
"That idea has never even been on the table," he said.
He said the charge that funding for abortions would be mandated is false, as is the notion that federal "death panels" would be established to discourage care for the sick and elderly. Watch as the president debunks what he calls the myths about health care.

Perhaps Obama should realize that it is him who is pushing myths. Mny of us have read part of it unlike he who admitted he hadn’t read any of it?
Good for you, 0bama.
He can read?????
Most people when caught in a lie, will stop telling that lie. That doesnt bother Obama, when he gets caught he just tries to knock down the credibility of the one who caught him.
He speaks of honest debate. What does he know of honesty, He is still hiding all of his secrets even though it is costing him millions, What would a Chicago gangland politician know of honesty?
Well....let me correct myself. He CAN read a teleprompter.
Obama doesn’t care about the elderly, he wants to off them. Heck he doesn’t even give a damn about the ones who voted for him. This was NEVER about health care, this is about FULL CONTROL, libs have wanted this for years, to control everyone’s health care, that way they decide who lives and who dies. Obama thinks he is greater then God. We have to pray and do whatever necessary to make sure this crap NEVER sees the light of day. If the Dems had the votes they would have passed this already, the fact is, they don’t, which is why they are begging Republicans to vote on it. NO REPUBLICAN better vote on this crap, if they do, I will do whatever I can to kick their asses out of office. If any Republican has any balls left, they will allow this bill to fail

Dear Governor Perry,
On March 30, 2009 the Texas House of Representatives passed HCR 50 affirming that the State of Texas claims sovereignty under the Tenth Amendment.
You have publicly supported this bill, and stated that attorney generals from all over the union could be getting ready to sue the US Government.
We are asking you to take the lead.
We are asking you to order the Texas Attorney General to publicly begin working on a law suit under Article IV, Ninth, and Tenth Amendment of the Constitution.
We are asking you to protect the citizens of Texas that we will not stand for government controlled healthcare in our state.
Under your leadership we can effectively kill the proposal of this administration and allow Texas to be a state free from socialism and collectivism.
Be the voice of reason in the national debate and allow Texans the ability to solve the problems of our state.
Thank you,

Facts about the 10th Amendment:
The Tenth Amendment (Amendment X) of the United States Constitution, which is part of the Bill of Rights, was ratified on December 15, 1791. The Tenth Amendment restates the Constitutions principle of Federalism by providing that powers not granted to the national government nor prohibited to the states are reserved to the states or the people.
HCR 50 HAS PASSED THE HOUSE 99-36!
Affirming that the State of Texas claims sovereignty under the Tenth Amendment to the Constitution of the United States over all powers not otherwise enumerated and granted to the federal government by the U.S. Constitution, serving notice to the federal government to cease and desist certain mandates, and providing that certain federal legislation be prohibited or repealed.
Take Action! Before it is too late!

The Obama File is a treasure trove of Obama history. Every thing youd want to know about the usuper
from his African ancestry to the present is here for us internet warriors to use for reference.
Even Latest News is back up- so apparently Beckwith intends to keep adding to the file. GREAT NEWS!!
FRiends, we have used The Obama File and neglected its author, Beckwith.
He is a 70 year old retired gentleman who is living on Social Security. He put up a PayPal which collected under $250.00 in the over 2 1/2 years that he struggled to maintain it. This is disgraceful.
Lets show our appreciation for this great American patriot by sending a generous donation to his PayPal!

The meaning of is again... Embalma-Sorosis care is Socialism.
When I was at my congressjerk's Townhall on Monday there were a couple of thousand people there and one guy, a Obama supporter loudly noted there were a lot of "old" people that were against the Obamacare. He said the Kevorkian law should be repleaded for "all these old geezers." If I had to do over again I would kick his ass.
Honestly. The little punk really said that. I think most felt sorry for the drunk little worm.
No rumors here. I’ve read and seen objective, non-partisan summaries of the 3 Bills. They are awful.
*They will raise costs, beyond even our current projections or worst imagination.
*They will destroy HC as we know it.
*They WILL kill people. Lots of them.
*Bankrupcy will be the least of your problems if you get sick.
Kill this turkey and incinerate it. What part of “The people don’t want it” can you not understand????

CNN Research Team Finds No Death Panel In Bill
"We searched for "death panel" and got a NOT FOUND," said Dr. Kumquat.
Rep. Nathan Deal (R-Ga.) offered an amendment to the House Energy and Commerce Committee this morning that would explicitly prohibit illegal aliens from receiving health care benefits under the health care reform bill (H.R. 3200). The amendment was narrowly defeated 28-to-29 after two Blue Dog Democrats on the committee voted against the amendment.
How do we know when Obama is lying about Obamacare?
When he opens his mouth.
"After the Bush White House took a look at how this document was treating complex health and moral issues, the VA suspended its use. Unfortunately, under President Obama, the VA has now resuscitated "Your Life, Your Choices."
Why is Obama and his wee-wee Whizzer Kids so turned on by death?
The solution to the costs involved is right in front of us. The funds we raise from auctioning airways, bids on drilling on gov’t land, drilling off shore, could all be dedicated to health care. We could sell a lease for oil drilling for example and instead of taking the usual 1/8 royalty, tell the oil company, we will allow you a 1/2 share in this case. We would likely amass a very large amount of funds. Something tells me the politicos will consider slaughtering old people much more enjoyable.
