Totally agree. He has to triangulate to survive and become popular. Otherwise, he’s done. Ha. Within 9 months.

Could someone explain ‘triangulate’? Also, nice to hear he thinks states might see some changes coming from these failures.

"...because Obama’s a messianic figure, and people were so invested in him..he has the potential to will take a lot of people down with him"

Personally I think the damage is already done. Obama knows it. His minions don't.

One brief point. Jimmy Carter wasn’t beaten because he was an overreaching ideologue, but because he had no clue how to deal with the issues that arose during his presidency, and the holdover problems he inherited from Ford. Ted Kennedy’s candidacy took a lot out of him in 1980, and the press went right on believing their fables about electing conservative Republicans up until election night.

There is no comparison between Carter and Obama. Carter was incompetent. Obama is evil.

Never mind, just looked it up. Fancy word for lying to your opponent.

I can't remember the anger level of the middle class, so-called "Silent Majority" being this intense since the Hardhats took on the Yippies 38 years ago. But they (0bama and his leftists) could still do a lot of damage via ACORN, the Census, and Vote Fraud.

Those people have a brown-shirt mentality (I didn't use the "N" word that ends in "i".)

I hope he does the Clinton thing and we are saved from his destruction. But then we’re gonna have to look at his scraggly ass for how long?

Yup. Glenn Beck vows to go after them...we must help defend him because they are already pressuring his sponsors.

You make good points... especially about Carter being incompetent and Obama being evil.

I used to think that Carter was an idiot but was a decent person. Now I'm not so sure.

When BOZerO spouted off that surgeons were doing ‘unecessary foot amputations and charging 30 to 40 to 50 thousand dollars’ well that moronic froth of the mouth should have been the clinker to the whole debate. Obama made an utter fool of himself but still his adoring morons think he is all wise and knowing instead of the nincompoop The One truly is!

Exactly right. But what made people think this subscriber to a racist black theology church with a pastor who said "God d*mn America", was some post-racial uniter? What made people think that the community organiser who was a friend of terrorist Ayres didn't mean all the things he said about his socialist ideology?

ACORN, the Census, and Vote Fraud.

That's what worries me. If they push this agenda in spite of the wishes of a majority of Americans, I'm going to know the fix is in in the coming elections. They have no shame, just look at Swimmer Kennedy trying to have a rule changed that he himself wanted when it was to his advantage. His memorial service is going to make Paul Wellstone's look like a ladies' tea, for the level of hate and demonising of the right and politicising.

Delta Smelt? What a joke.

Fry all the little bastards in a pan and serve with tartar sauce.

Problem solved.

It would be a great victory for Darwinism. The Left shouldn't mind.

The defeat of socialized medicine is a great going away present for Teddy Kennedy before he meets the burning clutches of the afterlife.

“Never mind, just looked it up. Fancy word for lying to your opponent.”

No, not exactly. It’s more like hijacking and adopting your opponent’s position or parts of it so that you don’t seem so radical. Now, you look like you’re a bipartisan compromiser, a uniter. When Clinton became a sudden advocate for welfare reform, that’s probably one of history’s greatest examples that come to mind.
