[ I will stick with the Church founded by Christ and protected by the Holy Spirit to this day: The Catholic Church. ]

The Roman Catholic church has no need of the Holy Spirit..
And can operate fully without him.. and does/do..

However some Roman orthodox believers do need him and know him..
As John ch 10 says.. some go in and out of the sheep pen..
Sadly its the same with some protestant situations..

Some christians love the acrid odors and sqwish between their toes in the sheep pens..
