In it Ridge says he was pressured to raise the threat level right before the election to scare the country into re-electing Bush. He says he considered quitting over it.
Of course, he didn't quit. He must have enjoyed the position and the paycheck.
What a phoney. They all want to be liked and invited to dinner parties. At least Cheney doesn't play that game.
I guess we’ll never know what goes on behind the scenes in either administration, but there ARE people who know the truth and I hope they will speak out against these allegations.
