Do any of the White House personnel double up in a room? Or do they all get private rooms/suites? Any relative size of entourage w/GWB?
George & Laura never went any place on vacation excerpt to the ranch or to the Bush conpound in Maine. Didn’t cost taxpayers anything but CIA salaries.

I wondered the same abour the press corps and who shared with Helen Thomas.....
Asking grown people who don’t know each other well to double up is not the norm in the business world. When I was a consultant we used to raze the newbies by telling them they were going to have to double up usually with somebody offensive.
That said, the only time I DID have to double up was when I was in Atlanta for a night and some convention had booked every hotel room in town. We were just grateful not to have to sleep sitting up at the airport. So, I’m guessing there were plenty of people NOT associated with the protus that were having to double and triple up.
It wouldn't be a fair comparison.. It's not HOW MANY - but HOW OFTEN the Clintons did it & Obama is doing it.
We should have someone calculating what this bunch is costing us in the few months he's been president & what the tab will be at the end of 4 years.
