Get your kids out now. Government schools can't be reformed!

What wintertime said. Get your kids out of govt schools.
Your local sd is no exception. You may think it is...you may find it convenient to think it is...but it isn’t.
We’re talking about your child’s mind, your child’s future and fate. Quit taking short-term advantage of the welfare system of day care. In the long term, you can’t afford it, the children can’t afford it, America is dying of it.
Get your kids out of public schools.

Public schools are failures and disasters and they have been for a very long time now.

If parents can afford to send their children to a private school or a charter school, they should do so immediately. If not, they should consider home schooling their children and start with reading, writing and math. Follow up those subjects with history, geography, civics, and very basic science.

^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^

ALL government schools in this nation ( by law) teach from a godless perspective. A godless worldview has religious consequences and these consequences are NOT religiously neutral.

A godless curriculum teaches children how to live without God. It's taken a few generations but we are now seeing the non-neutral religious, cultural, and political fallout from this godless indoctrination.

Government schools from the very beginning in the mid to late 1800s have **always** been about turning Americans into socialists and into good little workers for the state.

This is “news”? It’s been this way for at least a half-century and longer.

Government schools are reform-proof. They were designed to produce the results we’re getting. We can no more reform public schools than we could reform brothels or concentration camps.

The arguments for socialized schooling are the same as the arguments for socialized medicine. Neither has any place in a free society.

I ask everyone to remember this as we gear up to look toward the 2012 election:

Federal intrusion into public education exploded under President Bush with No Child Left Behind. Local choice and parental choice has suffered. Flexibility has suffered. Bright children have suffered as focus has switched from teaching for high achievement to training children to pass an almost endless stream of federally mandated tests. The effects are being felt in all 50 states.

With many candidates running in the opposite direction last year, Mitt Romney repeatedly reiterated his strong support for No Child Left Behind.

I see that the Department of Education can actually make a difference. So I supported No Child Left Behind. I still do. I know there are a lot in my party that don’t like it, but I like testing in our schools. I think it allows us to get better schools.

2007 Republican Debate in South Carolina May 15, 2007

If we sincerely want to lessen federal involvement with an eye toward ending federal intrusion altogether, the first step has to be nominating candidates who are against always expanding the federal role and taking away the right of parents to make the best choices for their children.

We need to say 'no' to candidates like Romney who do not support parents and students, but instead support more and more federal involvement in local issues..

ANOTHER REASON TO HOMESCHOOL

This ping list is for the “other” articles of interest to homeschoolers about education and public school. This can occasionally be a fairly high volume list. Articles pinged to the Another Reason to Homeschool List will be given the keyword of ARTH. (If I remember. If I forget, please feel free to add it yourself)

The main Homeschool Ping List handles the homeschool-specific articles. I hold both the Homeschool Ping List and the Another Reason to Homeschool Ping list. Please freepmail me to let me know if you would like to be added to or removed from either list, or both.

The idea of trying to win any sort of a culture war while sending your children off to the enemy for indoctrination doesn’t really compute...

Thanks.

It amazes me that so many people who fight against socialized medicine will turn around and use the same arguments they reject in that case to justify keeping socialized schooling.

Think you can't do it?

You can.

There are a lot of resources and you will benefit WAY BEYOND your investment.

One place to stop and visit:
