We can’t let these left wing loons play this game. We need to let the companies know we can play this game too!

Silly thing though is these advertisers are throwing away the largest viewing audience.

Right now, FOX is riding high. You WOULD think that the advertisers would want to be in front of those people, instead of buying discounted advertising in a lesser media.

HECK! They want a deal? We can put them in the Missoula Journal!

We should write these companies and let them know Beck has twice the audience than KOtheJO, let his sponsors know they are supporting nothing more than a Daily Kos reader and if this is how they treat free speech, my consumer dollars can best be spent elsewhere. They want to play hardball? Let’s play hardball(sorry Mr. Tingles, this is for men only).

I have already notified Proctor and Gamble that no longer will I buy their products. Will do so with other companies.

Yes, it’s very simple, conservatives who believe that Glenn Beck is being punished unfairly for speaking the truth should boycott the companies that have abandoned the Glenn Beck show, and ‘buycott’ the companies that are staying with the show.

Liberal pundits have celebrated the successful tactics that have forced corporations to stop advertising on the Beck program. MSNBC “Countdown” host Keith Olbermann made a victory lap on his Aug. 14 program, calling Fox News “reactionary media.”

“If you appear on reactionary media and call a president of the United States a racist, advertisers will still abandon you and they will abandon you faster than ever before,” Olbermann said. “A cheese company, a popular clothiers, SC Johnson Wax, Procter and Gamble, Lawyers.com and two - possibly three insurance firms have now bailed out on Glenn Beck. Beware the snowball, lonesome roads.”

Olbermann likened Beck to conservative radio hosts Rush Limbaugh and Michael Savage and CNN host Lou Dobbs, suggesting they could be part of the next campaign.

“The research into conservative radio listening habits, the more hate they hear, the longer they listen, the more money Limbaugh and Savage and Dobbs and Beck make - explaining their health - hate-for-hire stance on health care reform,” Olbermann said. “Except, you can still go too far. How much trouble is Glenn Beck in after a seventh, possibly eighth major advertiser cancels its commercials on his programs?”

A representative from Fox News told the Business & Media Institute it stands by an earlier statement [7] made by Bill Shine, SVP of Programming.

“During Fox & Friends this morning, Glenn Beck expressed a personal opinion which represented his own views, not those of the Fox News Channel,” Shine said. “And as with all commentators in the cable news arena, he is given the freedom to express his opinions.”

*****Update: Sargento VP Gannon Responds:

“I had never heard of the Color of Change organization until it was mentioned by a consumer who called us and claimed we were influenced by them, and I notice you have mentioned it as well. This group did not contact Sargento and did not influence our decision.”

Obama Brownshirts Try to Silence Glenn Beck

Barack Obama’s brownshirts are after Glenn Beck.

We can’t let them win. If they win with Beck, they’ll be emboldened to go after even more people.

A while back, Glenn Beck called Barack Obama a “racist.” Given all the terrorists, thugs, and racists Barack Obama has chosen as close personal friends (see e.g. Rev. Wright), it’s not a stretch to say it.

In fact, Obama’s Green Jobs Czar, the convicted felon and [Editor’s Note: I actually find this on blogs, but haven’t found it on a real news site, so I’m striking] self-declared communist Van Jones, has direct ties to the organization that’s trying to shut down Glenn Beck. Jones’s group has hired a big Hollywood PR firm and they are pressuring Glenn’s advertisers to stop advertising. If not, they’ll lead a boycott.

We need to strike back and boycott these groups for ditching Beck. If they are going to fold so easily in the face of Obama brownshirts, we must push back. If not, who’ll be next?

Here’s the list of the groups that have boycotted Glenn Beck. Let them know you disagree. Let them know you will boycott them for kowtowing to Barack Obama’s worshippers, brownshirts, goons, and thugs.
