For sure, we used to do that a lot. I even had a Bug myself and used to find it facing the opposite direction from how I parked it on a few occasions. We only ever did it to people we knew though and never damaged anything other than bending the front bumper up a little.

Yeah. I don’t remember anybody damaging a car doing it. It was supposed to be funny not harmful.
